Find Out Where It All Goes After You Flush
We are committed to protecting our waterways, public health, and the Environment, through the proper collection and treatment of municipal wastewater. Our on-going efforts to foster partnerships and relationships with those in our planning area through residential and business education, development of pro-active programs to reduce & eliminate SSO’s, development of programs to properly dispose of unused pharmaceuticals, and partner with our point source dischargers on the East Branch of the DuPage River to protect and revitalize the watershed.
Some of the ways we promote education is through staffs involvement with elementary and high schools in our area. Staff regularly connects with students & educators by participating in inter-active presentations at locals schools and hosting operator led tours of the treatment facility and processes.
Our goal is to enhance awareness of wastewater treatment and the environment as we continue develop educational resources & opportunities that promote this effort.
